Planting at Sandy Beach Reserve, 19th of July
On Sunday the 19th of July, Bassendean Preservation Group is doing our first planting of the year at Sandy Beach Reserve, in Bassendean. Register your interest here
We've been working hard all year, in collaboration with the Town of Bassendean to grow the 900+ plants for this event, and we're ready to get them in the ground.
We'd really like to see you there. Come have a good time while helping restore our foreshore.
Key points:
Meet at the Eastern side of Sandy Beach Reserve, next to the river. Look for our marquee.
Planting starts at 9:00 am with a quick briefing; end time is an estimation, we like to go until everything is planted, but any amount of your time is appreciated.
We bring the plants and the tools. We'll have spare gloves but bring your own if you can.
You bring the care and enthusiasm.
Planting ends with light refreshments; feel free to bring something if you like.
Water top-ups are available on site, but bring your own bottle.
Toilets are on site.
To help us anticipate expected numbers and to , we’d appreciate if you could register your interest via Humanitix
We hope to see you there!
