Planting at Sandy Beach Reserve, 19th of July

On Sunday the 19th of July, Bassendean Preservation Group completed our first planting of the year at Sandy Beach Reserve, in Bassendean.

We worked hard all year, in collaboration with the Town of Bassendean to grow the 937 plants for this event, and they’re now in the ground.

Around 30 volunteers turned up for a good time and a sumptuous morning tea feast after helping restore our foreshore.

Look for the areas roped off with bunting to find the main areas we planted.
