Weekly GroCentre Sessions

It’s Bunuru; the “second Summer”. Filling in gaps and doing necessary maintenance work to get seedlings to their final state.

We run weekly sessions at our Ascot nursery to keep all the plants healthy, propagate seeds, maintain the racks and prepare for future plantings. Come along and help out, learn skills and contribute new ones. Get in touch if this sounds like something you’d like to do. No need to commit every week.

2026 Planting Dates

Here are our planned planting dates for this year, so far:

• Sunday the 19th of July, at Sandy Beach Reserve. Register here

• Sunday the 2nd of August at Point Reserve.

Additionally, we will be doing semi-regular Wednesday plantings in place of some of our regular nursery workdays. If you’d like to be kept up to date with those plantings and possible come along, you can subscribe to the “Midweek Nursery Volunteers” mailing list here

Donate your Containers for Change to us!

BPG now has a code so that you can choose to donate your ‘Containers for Change’ money when you recycle at the Moojebing Street Exchange Depot in Bayswater. or at Bassendean - Self-Serve Kiosk in BIC Reserve.
