Subject: Did you promise yourself you would publish something this year on your on-ground projects?
[Apologies if you have received this more than once from different sources]
Hi to all regional workers in NRM,
The national journal 'Ecological Management & Restoration' (see ) is calling for very short summaries (i.e. 300 words) on any interesting ecosystem management or restoration project in Australia. - i.e. projects that are already showing good results. (This could be a revegetation, feral animal or weed management, water quality or other project.)
All you need to do is email me something short and we can help whip it into shape for publication. (See specifications below.)
If you have a range of projects that qualify, that is even better. Send as many as you like and we can group them together!.
If you are not the appropriate person to contact in your area, please pass this on to the appropriate person.
Closing date is Jan 10th 2010. (For final submission to press Jan 27th)
Many thanks,
Tein McDonald
SPECIFICATIONS
Project summaries are limited to 300 words and 5 key words. They must succinctly state the project’s name, aims, results to date, lessons learned and future directions of on-ground or research projects. Contact information must be provided at the end. Summaries are screened by the editorial board but not peer reviewed.
