BPG is seeking to get 5 knot advisory speed signs along the Swan River upper reaches to protect the river bank against erosion. The current speed limit of 8 knots has been shown by extensive research to cause degradation of the Swan River Asset. Contact your local Councillors or the Swan River Trust and tell them that you believe that signage should be erected along the Swan River from Ashfield to Success Hill Reserve, including the Pickering Park Boat Ramp.
